Teachers request sessions from professionals in specific industries or careers to enhance their curriculum and provide real-world context for their students. These session requests appear on your profile page. Each selected opportunity offers more details about the session including Q & A that will be included and session date and time options.

Getting started as a volunteer is simple. Just provide your basic information and we'll guide you through the process. Pathful uses your skills and industry expertise to match you with relevant session requests from teachers. Your volunteer dashboard shows upcoming sessions, matched opportunities, and more—making it easy to connect with students when it works for your schedule.
Since you'll be working virtually with students under 18, many school districts require a background check. Pathful uses Checkr for all background screenings. After you sign up for your first session, you'll receive an email from Checkr Background Service with instructions to complete the check—it takes approximately 5 minutes. Pathful receives only a CLEARED or NOT CLEARED status from Checkr. We do not receive or have access to any personal details about your background check application or results.
Your Pathful profile displays the number of students and classrooms you've impacted over time. As you complete sessions, you can earn digital badges, awards, and gift cards. These badges are shareable on social media and can be added to your resume to showcase your community involvement.
